The Tower of Palazzo Vecchio accompanied by the crenellated Camminamento di Ronda, with its 95 meters of height, stands out over the city, constituting one of its unmistakable symbols and points of reference. It belongs to the first nucleus of the palace, built between 1299 and the beginning of the fourteenth century, perhaps designed by Arnolfo di Cambio. Inside the Tower, a stone staircase of 223 steps leads to the last crenellated lookout level that offers a spectacular view of the city.
